Chess

Chess is a classic strategy game, suitable from your first games to tournaments. At Junika, choose a set by purpose and size.

How to choose a chess set

• For travel and kids: compact magnetic chess sets (24x24 and 27x27 cm) where the pieces do not slip and the board folds.
• For home: folding wooden chess sets with a padded interior, a 36–54 cm board and a 65–110 mm king. The board doubles as a box for the pieces.
• For clubs and tournaments: Staunton pieces No. 4–7 and tournament boards made of natural veneer.

In most sets the board is made of birch and the pieces are handmade. You will find chess clocks and individual pieces in the neighbouring categories. Free delivery to parcel lockers from 50 €.
